Use this tool to search the Triangle.

If you are a buyer you can see what is available in Durham, Wake, Orange and the 14 or so other counties covered by the Triangle Multiple listing service.

If you are a seller, see what your competition is. For the last three years at least there has been two and a half years worth of inventory on the market in Durham in the segment above $700,000…a good enough reason to understand what marketing homes is all about.

The search tool was developed by another Durhamite, Jeff Johnston. BestHomePro is, in my humble opinion, the most advanced tool of its kind and includes the mapping capability of Microsoft Virtual Earth. It also lets a registered user save multiple searches and favorite listings. The unique ranking of search results based on input and tradeoffs selected by the user takes it beyond any other search tool for real estate I have ever seen.

A user can also choose to have the system automatically notify them whenever changes occur in what would be the “top ten” in their search results. In other words, this system updates the user when new homes are put on the market or others are sold.
